Introducing HeartSong Ray Patrick, Rex Jones, Vonda Jones
Ray Patrick is one of the founding members of the Tennessee based HeartSong as it began in September of 2000. Ray contributes lead and baritone vocals as well as playing the bass guitar, song writing and managing the group. Ray has recently answered the calling on his life to preach and was ordained December 31st 2008.
Rex Jones began singing with HeartSong in 2007 contributing his low guttural bass tone to the vocal mix. Rex along with his wife Vonda also bless the group with their song writing talent. Rex is an ordained minister and has a radio program on 960 AM WBMC radio out of McMinnville TN every Sunday morning at 8:30 A.M. called the "Gospel Time Ministry".
Vonda Jones joined HeartSong in March of 2009. For the first time ever HeartSong is presenting the gospel as a mixed group. Singing lead, alto, tenor and any other needed part to enhance the vocal mix, Sister Vonda also shares her God inspired song writing ability through the group.
